Helen is a newly elected member of the Board for the Rotary Action Group for Peace (RAGFP). Helen is the founder of Pivot2Peace, a local peace group in Collingwood Ontario; she is a Chapter Coordinator for World Beyond War, a global movement to end all wars; and she is a Rotarian who served as D7010 Peace Chair.  Her mission today is to engage as many people as possible in the movement to shift our planet toward what she calls Peace Consciousness.  She is inspired by the potential we have as Rotarians to not only be leaders in building Positive Peace but to also be leaders in Ending War. Prior to full-time peace activism Helen was a Computer Executive (BSc Math & Physics; MSc Computer Science) and a Management Consultant specializing in Leadership and Teambuilding for Corporate groups. She has had the opportunity to travel to 114 countries, and to recognize how deeply interconnected we truly are.
