New Member Application
Welcome to the WE Rotary Club of International Peace! We are excited that you
are interested in joining our Club and we want to get to know you, your business, and your passion for PEACE and international friendships.
Please read the “Expectations For All Members” below and then download the application, fill it out, and send it to our Membership Chair William Shaw who will refer it to our Board. Once our Board has endorsed you for membership and the members have accepted you, you will be notified by Bill Shaw, and then you will receive an invoice from our treasurer for your dues. Upon their receipt you will be added to our list of members. You will want to visit our “New Member” page on our website for more information on meeting your fellow Club members, attending meetings, and generally having the best possible experience as a member of our Club.
NOTE: EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL MEMBERS:
Financial Obligations: Semi-annual dues—$120 USD plus a suggested $10 donation to the Rotary Foundation. Members are encouraged to support club projects financially as well.
Time Commitment: Each member may be asked to help during the year on specific needs of the Club such as recruiting new members, securing speakers for meetings, and working on projects of the Club. You are encouraged to be involved.
Meeting Attendance: Please commit to regularly attend our biweekly, live meetings over Zoom. This is our only way to connect with each other and to build new friendships. The meetings will be recorded. If you are unable to attend a live meeting please review the recording online from the website. Stay in touch: As part of your membership, please keep us informed about your activities and needs, suggestions for meetings, etc. You are welcome to contact President Dotty Cline or William Shaw, President-Elect.
