Liz Gruenfeld, Ph.D., Ed.M., MSW (LCSW) focuses her work on intercultural and intergenerational adversity, trauma and recovery, related to war, migration, human trafficking,
and gender-based violence. She engages professionally in education, training, and mental health support roles in contexts of post-conflict recovery, peace education, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). She specializes in using multimodal arts and embodiment practices in her work. She received a Ph.D. and MSW from Boston College School of Social Work, and Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also a yoga teacher and mother to a young daughter.
